Job Description

Midas Selection are currently working with a leading supplier of bespoke, polymer-based sealing solutions and precision seals. The business employ approximately 50 people operating within key market segments of Defence, Oil & Gas, Industrial and Automotive.

Together we are recruiting for two Technical Sales Engineer's to report into the Sales Manager, these positions will be responsible for a the North East & South East territory covering a selected range of customers and specific markets. The primary role of the Technical Sales Engineer is to identify, pursue and convert profitable new business opportunities, maintain and develop existing business and develop a strong project pipeline within targeted segments.

The Technical Sales Engineer will be expected to manage customer relationships through the entire business cycle from sale through to cash collection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Achieve sales and profit targets
• Seek new and profitable business opportunities.
• Promote the strengths and capabilities of the business in targeted growth markets
• Manage key accounts through the development and implementation of strategic account plans
• Build and maintain key customer relationships
• Deliver profitable growth within selected markets and customer base through project generation, management and conversion.
• Support the Sales Manager in the development of short, medium and long term sales strategy
• Work closely with our internal customer service teams to ensure maximum customer satisfaction
