Enterprise Channel Sales Consultant

Basic Salary: £55,000-65,000 + £25,000-£35,000 commission , car allowance plus many core benefits

Location: London or M4 corridor

The Role:

An exciting opportunity for a senior sales or software consultant within the Audio Visual and collaboration space.

This role is a field based sales role working with the re seller community to understand, promote and enable sales.
Since this is a new role, the successful candidate will be required to assist and lead many sales on behalf of the re sellers initially, but the “long game” is to move towards a fully enabled channel with minimal hands on support.

The successful candidate will need to be a strong salesperson, with the commercial awareness and gravitas to be viewed as an expert and consultant in their given field.

This is a critically important role for the business, and it will be based in the UK. You will work as part of a small team with autonomy to work and will have significant input into strategic sales decisions.

Managing both reseller and direct client relationships pre and (where appropriate) post sales

Writing proposals & managing tenders as appropriate

Hosting multi person meetings at our London demo suite

Presenting highly tailored software demonstrations to groups of buyers

Delivering accurate sales forecasts to the UK Commercial Director

The Candidate must:

Possess excellent communication skills

Be comfortable presenting to groups of people with different job functions

Have excellent commercial experience and understanding of how they operate differently (e.g. healthcare vs manufacturing)

Have a base understanding of reseller and distribution models

Be comfortable selling to senior management up to C level, and to multiple job functions (such as facilities, procurement, or senior end users)

Be prepared to contribute to the lead generation effort (though some meetings will be provided by an internal resource)

Preferable (not mandatory):

Understands cloud

Sold SaaS solutions before

Some industry experience in the AV or collaboration space

Sold “concepts” as well as products or services

Our client is a Audio Visual Software company working within the Audio Visual and collaboration space. They are the sole UK distributor for a number of innovative collaboration tools, with a particular focus on the Education and Enterprise sector. Any business that requires team collaboration, or that uses project management methodologies such as LEAN, Kanban or Agile is a good potential fit for their solutions.
