Regional Development Consultant - South London

Basic Salary Up to £40k + OTE £50k. Company car, laptop, mobile phone.

The client is one of the UK’s leading suppliers of bathroom fittings and is at the forefront in supplying many famous names in home improvements. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality and an understanding of how businesses operate. You will have very good communication skills which can be proven by your experiences to date. You will be eager to learn and work well as a team member.

What Is The Opportunity?:

We are looking to recruit an ambitious individual for whom Negotiation, relationship building, strategic sales and sales management skills are essential. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be responsible for the development of profitable sales from a pre-determined customer base. As well as constantly striving to secure new leads and accounts.

Key Areas Of Responsibility:

• Develop and execute strategic customer plans which optimise business opportunities for the short and long term
• Liaise with the sales team, Marketing and customer contacts to ensure that all promotional activity is delivered and followed through and all information and agreements are documented and in place using SAP and Phocus systems.
• The vision to be able to effectively expand market share and build on all business opportunities.
• Strong organisational skills to ensure demands, targets and customer expectations are met.
• A high degree of Initiative and resourcefulness to create competitive advantage at every opportunity
• Ensuring Key Performance Indicators [KPIs] are met and improved upon.
• Ensuring profitability levels are maintained and wherever possible, improved.
• Demonstrable business skills and experience in decision making, analysis, judgement, selling and negotiation skills.
• A strong commercial acumen with excellent productive interpersonal and professional relationship building experience.
• Robust planning, reporting and time management skills

Performance Measures:

• You must achieve assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts.
• Achieve strategic customer objectives assigned by company management.
• Meet assigned expectations for profitability.
• Complete Strategic customer account plans.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction levels in keeping with company standards and expectations.
