PROJECT MANAGER – INTERIOR FIT OUT – LONDON
CIRCA £40K BASIC, CAR OR ALLOWANCE AND PENSION
‘FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN A VERY WELL ESTABLISHED LONG STANDING FURNITURE MANUFACTURER/DESIGN FIT OUT COMPANY LOOKING TO EXPAND’

The role:

• Having total responsibility for the overall quality of installation, and delivering furniture projects on time and to budget
• Having full process oversight on “major projects” – complete ownership with internal support
• Managing multiple projects at a time and prioritising workload to ensure that project timelines are met
• Ensuring each installation is adequately resourced to meet agreed hand over dates to the dealer
• Creating a good working rapport with the dealers’ own PMs, end users, and all parties
• Involved in the project including security and lift managers
• Preparing and sending of RAMS and other similar documentation
• Serving as primary point of contact for all matters relating to the project
• Having significant involvement during the internal processing stages of the order to identify potential errors; reviewing all customer and supplier order confirmations for accuracy of specification and quantities
• Attending third party manufacturing sites to progress chase and especially when significant orders are being shipped direct to site
• Assisting the sales person in the estimates for D&I
• Generating and continuously maintaining reporting data, particularly actual costs for respective projects, reporting to senior management as necessary
• Snagging final installation to the satisfaction of the dealer
Attending pre-installation meetings as required and carrying out site surveys ahead of the first day on site; checking for difficult access, parking restrictions, special H&S issues etc.

Candidate profile:

• A proven track record in Project Management
• Interior fit out would be ideal but other construction-based background will be considered
• London based
• Energy, drive and enthusiasm
