Specification Sales Manager – Northern Counties – Ventilation Products

Basic Salary: UP to £40,000 (ote £3000 p/a)

The Role:

One of the UK’s most well established distributors of natural day lighting and ventilation products are looking to appoint a Specification Sales manager to cover the North of England.
These mid to high end products will be predominantly sold to Contractors, Specifiers & Architects. Your role will vary in terms of account management and new business development however the main focus will be on maintaining current accounts and making sure both existing and new clients are aware of the complete product range on offer. This will be achieved by engaging with existing and potential clients sourced mostly through your own new business development however the successful candidate will benefit from an in house marketing department who will also assist with leads.
This role is based ‘on the road’ promoting the full range of products on offer and the successful candidate will be expected to visit the areas office fortnightly.
A company vehicle is included along with a fuel card, 23 days holiday allowance, laptop, work mobile, tablet, generous pension scheme, private healthcare and a profit related pay scheme. With a very competitive basic salary along with a performance based commission scheme there is huge potential to earn in this role.
This well established company had a turnover of over £25million in 2017 and with the introduction of a new product they are looking to grow substantially moving forward.


The Applicant:

Ideally you will have proven experience selling within the Specification industry, ideally selling ventilation products to Contractors, Specifiers and Architects. We are seeking an energetic, tenacious and enthusiastic sales professional who thrives on developing new business opportunities whilst ensuring that the strong existing customer base is serviced accordingly and ensuring that opportunities are maximised within a heavily autonomous role.
The successful candidate must have strong experience of working in a field based role with demonstrable success of achieving sales targets with profitable margins.

This role is available for an immediate start and covers the following locations of Cheshire, Yorkshire, Durham, Lancashire, Cumbria, Northumberland.
