We are now recruiting for a National Business Development Manager to help expand our On-Trade sector.

THE ROLE:

Within this position, you will be responsible for managing and growing a vast portfolio of accounts, both directly and indirectly.

This will consist of National Foodservice and Out of Home businesses such as major restaurant and hotel chains with an approximate value of £6M.

You will be expected to plan, develop and implement customer trading strategies, as well as delivering budgeted growth of invoiced revenue and market share.

Most of the contact will be at Head office level and could include the likes of managers, buyers and directors.

Although the role will be predominantly managing existing accounts, there will also be an element of winning and developing new business.

This role will play a big part in supporting the channel director and the successful candidate will have a huge influence on the company’s decisions and sales strategies.

Dependent on growth and success, there will be an opportunity to further develop within this role and inherit a number of direct reports within the next 12 months.

THE APPLICANT:

The successful candidate will be an experienced sales professional from within the FMCG sector.

• Will have experience working for a food or drinks manufacturer and representing a nationally recognised brand.

• Will have a genuine interest in soft drinks brands and products.

• Will have strong relationship building skills with experience selling at manager and director level.

• Will be ambitious, dynamic and self-sufficient with management or leadership skills.

• Will also have some form of experience in new product development, logistics and marketing.

• Experience selling soft drinks products would prove beneficial.
